"JOY" Wood Letters Kit

I am offering this word as a kit only. I just can't find any more time before the holidays to do another class on top of the three that are already coming up! So I've made this kit easy for you to put together. In the kit you will get 3 full pieces of paper from the same collection. They are double sided so you can choose what you want to use on your letters. Also included with the kit will be the ribbons and all of the stamped/embossed/punched pieces. All you will have to do is cut out your little tree and attach the other pieces. All of the stamped images you see (tag on "J", circles on "O" and tree on "Y") are embossed. The only thing you will need to provide is the stain and the chalk/ink for the edges of the letters. I will include complete instructions for your kit also. I hope you all enjoy these letters as much as I do. These letters stand approximately 11" tall. You can email me your order at jenandars@safelink.net or call me at 678-1730. Thanks and Happy Holidays!! And if anybody could tell me how to put my pictures where I want them I'd appreciate it. :)
Price: $20
I will have these delivered no later than December 10th but probably much sooner than that.

Advanced "FUN" Class

That's right, you heard me! We're going to learn how to have fun better than average people. hee-hee Just kidding. When I say "advanced card" class, everybody gets scared. They're not hard cards to make, they're just more detailed and you will need to follow my instructions to complete them. So we're pretty much just going to have more fun than usual! I have included the pictures of all the cards. They all use the same designer paper collection from SU. We will also make the cute little tote that goes with them. So for this class you will make 3 "advanced fun" cards and the tote. Here are the details:
When: Tuesday, December 1st @ 6:30
Where: Jen's House
Price: $10 (remember that stamp club members receive $5 off of all my classes all the time)
Please RSVP your spot by November 20th. I need the early RSVP due to SU closing their offices for Thanksgiving. Thanks so much and I hope you want to learn how to have fun like a genious!! hee-hee

Milk Carton Class

This is just one of the funnest gifts I have ever seen!! You can fill the little milk cartons with candy, gift tags, small surprises, a gift card, whatever you can think of! On the bottom of each carton is a special closure so that your recipient won't have to destroy the milk cartons to get to their contents. I will be offering this as a class and a kit. This cute little carton holder can be made with any paper or colors you'd like. I plan on doing some with Christmas papers for some gifts this year! For the class it will look like the one above. Here are the details:
When: Wednesday, November 18th @6:30pm
Where: Jen's House
Price: $12 for the class $15 for the kit. I will stamp all of your images for you and include detailed instructions for the kit and so that's why it costs a little more.
Please RSVP by November 9th so that I can get your supplies ready!

"Believe" wood letter class

Thank you to everyone who came to my fall card camp this week! I had so much fun and hope you all did too!

Again, I apologize for the awful photography. I hope the close-ups of the letters help you out. I think you can double click right on the pictures though and make them bigger so they're easier to see. The colors on these blocks are red, white, silver, and taupe. One of the papers even has flocking on it. All of the "e"s have silver embossing on them. If you need some more close-ups I can get them for you. Here are the details for this class and kit.

When: Tuesday, November 10th @ 6:30pm

Where: Jen's House

Price: $25 for the class, $22 for kit, $17.50 for wood only. The kit will include everything you need except the paint, ink, and embossing supplies.

Please let me know if you'd like to take the class or need a kit or wood by November 3rd.

"Fall" Wood Letter Class

I'm so glad that I've gotten so many requests for my next wood letter class. As usual, you can't see much from my awful photography. These letters include ribbon, rub-ons, heat embossing, glitter, and inking. As some of you have learned in the past, your papers might be slightly different than these but very similar. They will be in the same color family and mostly like these. Some of you might even chose to make yours a little different and that's great!! Here are the details.

When: October 22nd Thursday @ 6:30pm (Please try to RSVP by October 17th so I have some time to get your wood cut and kit put together) After the date of the class I will be adding $5 to kits because of the extra time to round everything up again.

Where: Jen's house

Price: $22

These letters are quite tall like the last ones. They are approximately 9 and 10 inches tall and are made using 2" wood. The price above is the class price. This includes everything you will need to complete the project including: wood, stain, paper, embellishments and class time. If you would like just the kit it will include the wood, paper and ribbons. It will NOT include the heat embossing, ink & glitter. The price for the kit is $18. If you would just like the wood the cost will be $12.

At the moment I am working on "believe" for a November class. Watch for this picture and details coming a little later next week.

Please feel free to tell your friends, family, and neighbors about my blog and projects. The more the merrier!! Welcome to the holiday season everyone!

Class Date Correction

Sorry folks. I thought I had my dates all planned out well, that's what I get for thinking I guess. I need to change the "BOO" class to Wednesday, the 16th. The "WITCH" class will stay the same (for now).

"BOO" & "WITCH" Letters Classes

Are we all ready to get back to work? Kids are getting ready to head back to school next week I can't even believe summer is over. And since summer is over, we better make something to replace those "summer" wood blocks we made last. This time I am offering two classes. Choose one, choose both. They're both sure to make your home spooky cute this Halloween season!
I'll never learn how to put those pictures in right but here are the details.
"BOO"--letters are approximately 8 1/2 inches tall. These letters are simple and won't take long at all to make!
When: September 15th @ 7pm. Please bring paint brushes and scissors so you won't have to wait for some. Papers will all be different so first come, first choice.
Cost: $15--please pay when you sign up so I can purchase materials
"WITCH"--letters range in height but witch is about 16" tall and black "h" cat is about 14" tall. This word is really big and super cute. There is glitter on the "T" and the "C", heat embossing on the "W". My pictures don't do it justice. This one will take a lot longer than the "boo" word so I have scheduled it on a Saturday.
When: September 19th @10am. Please bring paint brushes (big and small). There are lots of tight places to paint on these so tiny brushes will help.
Cost: $30--please pay when you sign up so I can purchase materials.
The sooner you sign up the better. I have a lot of people wanting to do these and eventually I might have to put some of you out in the barn so I have enough room. hee-hee Please sign up for either class by September 7th so I can get your wood cut for you and have time to purchase enough materials. I hope you enjoy these next classes. Watch for my bi-annual card camp coming in October!

HOLY COW!!!!

Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I'd stop by and let you know what's going on. My next class will be in September. I will be teaching another wood letter class. This one will be a Halloween word for October. I will have a word (BOO) for you to make with the option to buy a kit or already made "WITCH" word. I haven't calculated the prices yet so I will let you know when I find out more.
In October I will have a class for the word "FALL" to continue with my season series. I also plan on having my bi-annual card camp in October. Watch for your postcards for this one.
In November I will have a Christmas word and the word "winter" just so we have all four seasons covered. If you have an opinion of which Christmas word you would like please let me know so I can choose one because honestly, there are a million of them I could do like JOY, BELIEVE, SNOW, HO HO HO, SANTA, NOEL, PEACE. The November class could possibly be a Saturday so we can have all day to do two words.

Stampin' Up! has a mini catalog coming out beginning September 1st. It is the cutest one I have ever seen and I really do want it all (as usual). Watch for other little classes from this catalog, possibly two or three.

For the week of July 13 -20 SU is having a special. It is the square fire rhinestone brads for 6.99. They are usally 10.95. The item number is 109112 on page 179.

Whew!!! So as you can see, I better get busy. Please let me know if you'd like to see a class on a certain thing or let me know how I can help you. Thanks so much for being great customers and friends!!! :) Jen

Summer Wood Block Class

These adorable blocks are the next one in my wood word series. If you missed "Spring" you better jump on the band wagon now. hee-hee I had a lot of people asking for my spring letters after we had made them and as much as I would have loved to get you all a kit, I had to turn some people down because after I do the class it's very hard for me to find the same paper that I used. So if you know of anybody that might like these letters let them know about my blog so they can order theirs early. I don't know if you can tell by the picture (I'm an awful photographer) but every letter has glitter on it. The "R" actually has punched out flowers with eyelets for their centers. If you have any questions or would like to sign up for the class or the kit please let me know. My number is 208-678-1730 and my email (easiest way to find me) is jenandars@safelink.net. Here are the class details:

When: Tuesday, June 2nd, 6:30 sharp! (or you'll never get them done)
Place: Jen's house
Price: $21 (payable at sign up please)

One more thing......for those of you scared to paint, I will be painting the watermelon for you so NO WORRIES!!! :)

Stamp Club

I will be starting a new stamp club in April. My clubs are very simple. Clubs are a great way to receive free stamps and accessories without having to do any of the work! Here's how it works.

There are five girls in a club. You get to be the hostess twice a year and we take two months of the year off, usually August because of school registration costs and December because of Christmas. When you are the hostess you don't have to do anything extra. You will receive a hostess stamp set of your choice plus at least $15 in free merchandise.

Each month your order is due by the 3rd Monday of that month. Your order needs to be at least $30 before shipping and tax are added. Being in a stamp club is how I got started stamping. I was able to collect a few supplies at a time and now I'm well on my way to practically having to build onto my house to store it all (ok, maybe not that bad). It's also fun because each month you get a little bag full of the things you love.

Please email me if you'd like to join a stamp club. If I fill one I will start another. Oh! I almost forgot. My stamp club members also get $5 off of my classes (except ones that include stamp sets). It's great to be in a stamp club!

Family Frame Class

This is my next class I'll be teaching. You will need to bring a 5x7 frame of your choice and I'll provide the rest. It's a very simple project and a great way to display your family in a fun way.

Cost: $5 or free if you are a club member (let me know if you'd like more details)

When: Saturday, March 7th at 1pm (a ways a way I know)

Where: my home

Please email me if you'd like me to reserve you a spot.

Getting Started

I'm really new at this blogging stuff. I wanted a way to reach all of my customers about my stamping classes and this seemed like the best way to do it. I don't blog about my family like most normal people do, but I will blog about my business. Now if I can just find time :) If you have any opinions about what kind of classes you'd like me to offer please let me know. Now how do you get a picture of something onto here? You're in for a real treat, me trying to figure out technology.
