"Thanks" class

This word has a couple new things on it that I haven't ever used before. I used beads to hang from the "h" and added them a few other places too. I also used some kind of ribbon that is more like mesh which looks so great on this word. Please let me know ASAP if you'd like to do this class. I'm sorry it took me so long to post it. I had it done and then noticed kids took batteries out of my camera!!! Here're all the details
When: Wednesday, October 27th 10am or 6:30pm
Where: My house
Cost: $23 for the class $20 for the kit
This word makes a great "Thanksgiving" decoration but it would also make a great "thank-you" gift for somebody in your life!!!

Santa Wood Blocks

No, I didn't forget about Thanksgiving!!! I'm putting this one up first simply because I was "forced" to get it done first. I have some wonderful ladies using it for their super saturday in a few weeks so I hurried and got it done for them. Thing is, people are signing up FAST and I haven't even posted it yet so I thought I should hurry and get that done. Here are the class details.
When: Wednesday, November 17th @ 10am or 6:30pm
Cost: Class is $25 Kit is $22
This word is a little taller, about 8 1/2 inches tall. Lots of rusty stars, ribbon and gold embossing.
I will get "Thanks" done and post it next week. That class is October 27th.....just so you know.

New Blocks to See!!

Well, I survived the fair, although it did take me an entire week to recoup this year. I must be getting old. :) As some of you saw at the fair I had a new style of A-B-C's for you. I wanted to share these with all of you so since I know some of you couldn't make it to the fair. These are just a few of the ones I still have on hand. You can put in a custom order any time. They are 5$ a block and that is completely finished!! They are covered with mod-podge so they are completely protected from gooey fingers and dirty dust! They make great gifts for Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings and of course for yourself. They look great with first or last names on them too. I made one with my daughter's name on it as an example at the fair and I had THREE people that wanted it. Who knew McKenna's name would be so popular. Wonder how many people would've wanted Brekkyn's name. :) Let me know what you think.

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Ok, so I haven't been on my blog in a while. Have you all missed me? hee-hee This summer is busy for us just like I'm sure it is for all of you. That's why I'm offering this adorable decoration only as a kit. That way you can work on it as you have time. Click on the picture for finer details. The paper is absolutely amazing with the flag, statue of liberty on the "s" and the eagle and flags on the "a". The letters stand about 10 inches tall!!
Your kit comes with everything except the stain and ink. You will also get step by step instructions. Please let me know ASAP if you would like a kit. I have always sold out of all my kits and once they're gone, they're gone because of paper availability.
The kit cost is $24. I will try to have kits out during the week of June 15th.
I will have a booth (or at least part of one) at the Cassia County Fair this year in the commercial building. The other girls I will be with will be selling watch bands and headbands/flowers. Come look for me!! I'll be selling ready made words that I haven't had any classes on yet. You'll also be able to sign up for upcoming classes (happy birthday and spooky) along with ordering any wood you might need cut from past projects.
So let me know about the USA kits and we'll see you at the fair!!! (August 16-22)

April Card Camp

I can't believe it's already been six months since the last card camp we had!! The above two cards are two of the four that we will be making. Now you're probably asking what the bag is for? Well, that is a prize for you to win! If you bring a friend new to my events or make a $25 Stampin' Up' order the day of the card camp you will be put in the drawing for that cute bag. Now why am I giving away a bag as a prize? Because I made it using the Big Shot Die Cutting machine from Stampin' Up! No more cutting out millions of squares to make your quilts. I'd love to show you how. There will be door prizes, homemade "goodies" for all participants, and lots of fun. And if you pay your fee by April 1st you will also receive a cute "gift box" for your cards. You could use it to actually give your cards as a gift or maybe keep it for yourself for a great storage box. I hope you can all come and join us. Here are all the details. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 208-678-1730 or email me at jenandars@safelink.net.
Date: Saturday, April 24th
Time: 10:00am
Cost: $15 for 12 cards and envelopes
